Oliveira’s Restaurant started serving the Boston community in April of 2004.
The name Oliveira originated as homage to the family of our founder and the vast number of people with the last name Oliveira throughout Brazil.
We serve traditional food from Brazil’s Southeastern region: Mineira and Capixaba. In addition, Oliveira’s offers one the most popular styles of barbecue in Brazil; Rodízio, a continuous service of various fire roasted meats brought on cooking skewers and carved at your table. All you can eat at a fixed price.

On November 3, 2021, Oliveira’s building was taken over by a fire that consumed the building, located at 749 Broadway – Everett MA. According to the investigation, the fire started in the Dumpster, and went up the side of the building until it reached the top, where the apartments are located.
Dozens of firefighters acted to put out the fire, and a large part of the building, including the restaurant (which is located on the first floor), was compromised due to the large amount of water needed to put out the fire.
Due to this event the restaurant was closed. So I started to open Oliveira’s Restaurant in another location, at 158 School Street – Everett MA.
At this very challenging time, all employees came together to move and install the new workplace. The team’s performance was so intense that we reopened Oliveira’s in just 2 weeks!
We had a great challenge to comply with the city’s regulations, purchase of new equipment, new system, new design of the environment, new structure, purchase of goods, etc. Everything has changed but our unique and tasty Brazilian food remains the same! The cold drinks, the best quality meats, and the exceptional service.
